HEADS UP MIAMI FLOOD ZONE: IF YOUR HOME’S MORTAGE IS HELD BY CHASE BANK AND HAS FLOOD INSURANCE WITH STATE FARMS, HEADS UP……… OUR HOME’S FLOOD INSURANCE HELD BY STATE FARM WAS ALLOWED TO EXPIRED AND CHASE FORCED US TO ACCEPT THEIR OWN FLOOD INSURANCE. WE HAD PAID $300.00 FOR STATE FARMS FLOOD INSURANCE AND CHASE’S FLOOD INSURANCE WAS $1300. WHEN THIS MONTH, OUR MORTAGE PAYMENTS JUMPED $700.00 MORE A MONTH, WE TOOK THE PROBLEM TO A REALTOR FRIEND AND FOUND THAT: BESIDES THE FLOOD INSURNCE PLAY, WE WERE PAYING STATE FARM INSURANCE COVERAGE, FOR OUR 1400 SQUARE FEET PROPERTY MORE THAN SIMILAR PROPERTIES TIME AND A HALF THE SQUARE FOOTAGE WITH SIMILAR ACCOMODATIONS. HEADS UP, DO NOT TRUST YOUR INSURER; THEY COULD BE PLAYING YOU WITH THE BANKS TO MAKE YOU ANOTHER FORCLOSED “INSIDE JOKE”VICTIM. HEADS UP.
